MAÂT is a platform that allows citizens to create, sign and share online petitions
to defend causes of general interest, raise public awareness and engage decision-makers.
2. Registration and User Account
To use MAÂT, you must create an account by providing:
- A valid phone number
- Your first name
- A secure 4-digit PIN code
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your PIN confidential.
You are responsible for all activities performed from your account.
3. Creating Petitions
When creating a petition on MAÂT, you agree to:
- Defend a cause of general or collective interest
- Provide a clear, honest and verifiable description
- Not publish defamatory, insulting or discriminatory content
- Respect applicable laws and the rights of others
- Not use the platform for commercial or advertising purposes
- Not create petitions with violent, hateful or illegal content
4. Signing Petitions
By signing a petition, you express your support for the cause being defended. Your signature is final
and cannot be withdrawn once recorded. Your first name will be visible to other users in the
list of signatories.
5. Prohibited Content
It is strictly forbidden to publish or share on MAÂT:
- Illegal, defamatory content or content infringing on the rights of others
- Hate speech, racist, homophobic or discriminatory remarks
- Calls to violence or illegal acts
- Pornographic or inappropriate content
- Personal information of third parties without their consent
- Misinformation or fake news
6. Moderation and Removal
MAÂT reserves the right to moderate, suspend or remove any content or user account that
violates these terms. Petitions may be removed without notice if they breach these rules.
7. Personal Data Protection
Your personal data is collected and processed in accordance with applicable regulations.
We only collect information necessary for the service to function (phone number,
first name). This data will never be sold to third parties. You have the right to access,
modify and delete your data.
8. Notifications
By using MAÂT, you agree to receive notifications regarding:
- New petitions created by other users
- Signatures received on your petitions
- Important platform updates
9. Intellectual Property
The content you create (petitions, descriptions) remains your property. However, by publishing on MAÂT,
you grant the platform and other users the right to view, share and sign your petitions.
10. Responsibilities
MAÂT is a platform for connection and citizen expression. We are not responsible
for the content of petitions created by users. Each petition creator is solely responsible
for their content and its accuracy.
11. Service Availability
We strive to keep MAÂT accessible 24/7. However, we cannot guarantee
uninterrupted availability and reserve the right to perform technical maintenance.
12. Modifications to Terms
MAÂT reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be
notified of important changes via in-app notification.
